Spokane County jury trials postponed again until after July 6
All civil and criminal jury trials in Spokane County have been postponed until after July 6, the third postponement of trials due to COVID-19.
Jury trials initially were suspended in March, with the suspension extended on April 20.
Trials were set to resume on June 1 before the latest postponement.
Individuals who are sick or supposed to be quarantined are not allowed in the Spokane County Courthouse under an emergency order filed Tuesday.
Anyone entering Superior Court courtrooms are required to wear a mask, with specific exemptions, unless they are actively participating in a court proceeding, in which case they can remove their mask if they wish.
