Work experience: Has worked at Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho, 2015 to current; vice president of public affairs, now transitioning to educator. Past work experience includes Eastern Washington director for YWCA Youth and Government, legislative assistant to state Sen. Andy Billig and legislative assistant to former Spokane City Councilman Jon Snyder. Co-founded Down To Earth, an environmental advocacy and sustainability news blog that was published by The Spokesman-Review. Worked maintenance at the City of Spokane Parks Department. Currently serves as a board member for Greater Spokane Progress and the Washington Bus. Past board member for the Center For Justice, Washington Bikes, South Perry Farmer’s Market and volunteered with KYRS Thin Air Community Radio, Terrain Spokane, Spokane Community Against Racism, Spokane River Clean Up and Pro-Choice Washington.
