60th anniversary: Ken and Joanne Jenkins

Ken and Joanne Jenkins will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary today with an open house at their home.

Their children and spouses are: Bill and Bernadette Jenkins, of Spokane; Dave and Tarina Jenkins, of Kent, Washington; and Karen Jenkins, of Federal Way, Washington.

The couple met at Eastern Washington University where they graduated together in 1961. The bride’s father served as the officiant when they were married on July 27, 1959, in Walla Walla. They have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
