Kaden Perry

Jersey: 20 Position: F
Height: 6-9 Weight: 225
Hometown: Battle Ground, Washington, United States
Bio: Athletic forward has drawn early comparisons to former Zag Brandon Clarke for his dunking and strong rim protection. Decorated high school career was derailed by noncontact back injury five games into senior season at Battle Ground High. Averaged 23.7 points, 15.3 rebounds and 3.3 blocks at Battle Ground and as a sophomore led Tigers to school’s first state tournament appearance since 2002. Four-star recruit per 247Sports.com was also the second-rated prospect in Washington and was one of 80 high school players invited to USA Basketball’s Junior National Team minicamp in Colorado.
So. Scouting report: Back spasms kept athletic forward off the court for the majority of his freshman season. Expected to be available for Bulldogs at the start of 2022-23 season, but may struggle to find minutes in a crowded frontcourt that also includes Drew Timme, Anton Watson, Efton Reid and Ben Gregg. In limited action last season, gave fans a sample of his athletic ceiling with array of dunks and blocked shots. Averaged 1.8 points and 2.3 rebounds.
Fr. Scouting report: Shot-blocking freshman should supplant Gonzaga’s depth in front court and challenge for bench minutes behind Drew Timme, Chet Holmgren and Anton Watson.
