Bio: After transferring from the University of Washington, Dickau played two seasons with Gonzaga. He was named to the AP All-America First Team in 2002, the first Bulldogs player to earn that distinction. He was named WCC Player of the Year as well that season. Now, Dickau lives in Spokane and is a color commentator for Gonzaga games on KHQ and Root.
Dickau on how Gonzaga sustains its success: “The consistency of leadership at the top, and that goes all the way to (athletic director) Mike Roth. He loves it in Spokane, knows his coach loves it here. … Coach (Few) has had the opportunity to go places but he’s always felt he has just as good of a chance to win a national championship at Gonzaga as any other place.”
