Eli Francovich: Dispatch from the Ukrainian border

Spokesman-Review writer Eli Francovich is in Medyka, Poland, on the Ukrainian border, and following Spokane doctor Kyle Varner, who gathered medical supplies and went to Poland last week to try and be of help in the struggle between Ukraine and Russia. He has settled into an aid station, working the night shift. Francovich's trip is supported by the Innova Community Journalism Fund, which holds the donations of supporters who attend the Northwest Passages events in Spokane.
