Huskies down Cougars 31-13 at home in 112th Apple Cup
Washington football defeated Washington State 31-13 in the 112th Apple Cup Friday in Seattle, its seventh consecutive Apple Cup win. Huskies quarterback Jacob Eason threw for 244 yards, tallying one touchdown through the air and one on the ground; running back Richard Newton also added two touchdowns. Washington's defense put up a season-high five sacks in the effort. Cougars quarterback Anthony Gordon threw for 308 yards as Max Borghi rushed for one touchdown. – Pac-12 Networks
