Winning A Game In Two Periods? Americans Experience A Rarity

It was a first for the Great Falls Americans on Friday, winning a game in just two periods. An issue with the ice at the Great Falls IcePlex forced the teams to not play the third period, and the next day, the Bruins conceded the third period to the Americans. It's something Head Coach Greg Sears says in all his years of hockey, he's never seen. "A player went in hard and chipped a piece of ice off, which is unfortunate and we were unable to get it fixed up in the right amount of time...First time in 15 years of coaching that I've had a suspended game." Said Sears.
