Storage Unit fire
Fire has heavily damaged five storage units and affected at least 17 at a north Spokane storage facility. Firefighters have extinguished the blaze and are mopping up at Self Storage, 322 E. North Foothills Drive. The fire apparently started in one unit and spread. County tax records show the facility is owned by Spokane developer Harlan Douglass.
