71-year-old man who was reported missing found safe

A 71-year-old resident of an assisted living home who went missing was found safe.

The home reported Michael R. Hanson missing after he checked himself out May 30 and did not return, according to a Spokane Valley Police Department news release.

Police said Tuesday morning Hanson was OK.
