‘Partners in Rhyme’
Hip hop icon MC Lyte stars in this new sitcom set inside the record industry, which rap legend Lana Crawford (Lyte) has ruled for years. Now, however, she’s just receive two pieces of bad news: Her label is dropping her from its stable of artists, and Lana is sitting on a mountain of debt. Despite her misgivings, she is in no position to say no when pressured into managing her niece, high school rapper and social media superstar Luscious T (Precious Way, “Queens”). ‘Millennials’
Four male roommates and a friendly neighbor across the hall give and take mutual support as they try to find professional success and true love in Los Angeles in this new situation comedy. The characters include Omar (Kyle Massey), an ambitious business student; Jaheem (Keraun Harris), a personal trainer who has no qualms about dating his clients; Travis (Philip Bolden), an insecure social media personality hungry for validation; and college dropout Todd (Aaron Grady). ‘Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer’
The two marriageable males, Steve McBee and Kurt Sowers, compete in a relay race that doesn’t really provide the women with clear-cut clues as to the identity of who is the rich guy and who is the Average Joe in the new episode “Ready, Set, JOE!” Later, after the romantic dates during which the men get to know the ladies better, one woman becomes queen of the castle, while a less fortunate one has to settle for the bouncy castle home. ‘Call Me Kat’
In a new episode called “Call Me Unfaithful,” Randi and Kat (Kyla Pratt, Mayim Bialik) decide to investigate after Randi sees Sheila’s (Swoosie Kurtz) boyfriend (guest star Jay Linzy) out with another woman. While she and Kat try to decide whether to tell Sheila what they find out, Randi also looks for a new apartment.
