Support our police

Who would ever want to go into law enforcement? Police officers put their lives on the line to protect our community. But I am deeply troubled by the negative publicity in the media. Politicians have enacted questionable legislation that has greatly hindered police from identifying, arresting, charging and convicting dangerous criminals.

Recently, The Spokesman-Review published an in-depth story on the crime rate in Spokane and one amazing statistic was the homicide solve rate for the Spokane Police Department was 96% compared to the national average of 61%.

The community needs to support our police department, not try to tear in down!
