Equity in sports coverage

On April 4, two Spokane natives won a national championship playing for a California college. On April 5, a group of non-Spokane natives lost a national championship playing for a Spokane college. All of these young people deserve attention and accolades for their accomplishments. The Spokane newspaper did not give equal attention to these two groups.
