Man hospitalized after stabbing outside Bing Crosby Theater
A 37-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another man in the torso Monday in downtown Spokane.
Patrick Page, who has an extensive criminal record including 12 felonies and 14 misdemeanor convictions, was booked into the Spokane County Jail on a charge of first-degree assault, Spokane police Cpl. Ron Van Tassel said in a news release.
The stabbing occurred on Sprague Avenue between the Knitting Factory and the Bing Crosby Theater, and officers responded after the victim walked to the Spokane Transit Authority Plaza to summon help, Van Tassel said. The attack was captured by a surveillance camera, which helped identify Page as the assailant, he said.
The victim, whose name was not released, was in serious but stable condition Monday evening, Van Tassel said.
