Police seek missing Spokane woman, children, boyfriend

Police are looking for a Spokane woman, her three children and her boyfriend, who have been missing since March 11.

A protection order is in place that is designed to prevent Danielle M. Smith from contacting her children, who are ages 10, 7 and 3.

The Spokane Police Department Domestic Violence Unit said in a statement that investigators suspect Smith may be with her boyfriend, Jeffrey Griffieth.

Griffieth is wanted on a felony warrant from Pierce County. His two children, ages 12 and 8, are reported missing but are suspected to be with him, according to SPD.

Both Griffieth and Smith have been seen in different communities across Washington state, Spokane police said.

Those with information on the couple or the children’s whereabouts can call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233. Police warned that citizens should not try to intervene if they see Smith or Griffieth but should instead call law enforcement.
