White Elephant closing final sale down July 26

The going-out-of-business sale at White Elephant in Spokane will end July 26. All remaining merchandise is now priced at 50% off the marked prices.

The White Elephant store in Spokane Valley closed July 11, and the remaining merchandise was moved to the store at 1730 N. Division St. The Conley family, which has managed the store since patriarch John R. Conley Sr. founded it in 1946, announced the final day Thursday in an email. 

The store hours are 9-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, except for the final day July 26.

Also on Thursday, the Conley family announced the launch of Christmas in July Toy Drive to benefit families served by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Items purchased for donation can be placed in a collection box by the front door. Donated items will be collected for distribution on July 26.
