Coeur d’Alene-based Interlake Pharmacy joins Kootenai Health

Interlake Pharmacy in Coeur d’Alene has joined Kootenai Health.

Under the merger, Interlake Pharmacy will operate under the name Kootenai Health Pharmacy.

Tim and Kris Brown, who have owned Interlake Pharmacy for more than 33 years, will remain on staff at the pharmacy along with their current employees. They will be joined by Barbara Conti, director of ambulatory pharmacy services at Kootenai Health, according to a Kootenai Health news release.

“We have enjoyed the honor and privilege of owning and coming to work at Interlake Pharmacy for 33 years,” Tim Brown said in a statement. “We are so thankful for the many patients and wonderful staff members we have worked with through the years. Now we are excited and looking forward to the next steps and evolution of pharmacy services at Kootenai Health Pharmacy.”

Pharmacy operations will remain the same, and patients’ prescription information will continue to be available through Kootenai Health Pharmacy, according to the release.

The pharmacy’s hours of operation also will remain the same but will likely be expanded in the future, Kootenai Health said.

Kootenai Health Pharmacy is open weekdays 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
