Coeur d’Alene man held on $1M bail, charged with possessing ‘sexually exploitative material’ of children
Investigators with Idaho’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit arrested a 62-year-old Coeur d’Alene man suspected of possessing “sexually exploitative material” related to children this week.
William R. Carr was booked into the Kootenai County Jail Tuesday afternoon on 10 charges of sexual exploitation of a child, according to jail records. His bail was set at $1 million.
The U.S. Marshals Service, Post Falls Police Department, Coeur d’Alene Police Department and Kootenai County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office assisted attorney general investigators, according to a news release. The ICAC unit investigates and prosecutes individuals who use the internet to criminally exploit children
