Yanni announces April 9 concert at Northern Quest

Instrumental musician Yanni will headline the Northern Quest Resort and Casino’s Pend Orielle Pavilion on April 9.

Tickets are $59-$99 and go on sale Friday at 9 a.m. through TicketsWest.

Yanni has a number of studio and live albums under his belt, including “Sensuous Chill” and “The Dream Concert: Live from the Great Pyramids of Egypt,” which were both released in 2016.

He released the single “Into the Deep Blue” in December. “I love the piano version of ‘Blue’ and the healing power it has on me!,” Yanni wrote about the song on Facebook.

“But I always wanted to make an orchestrated studio recording of the second movement of this piece of music. … I think the power of the second theme warranted ‘special attention.’ To me it is about breaking free!”
