Louis is one awesome dog, the Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service said in an email. He is a happy boy who seems very comfortable and confident. He walks well on leash, likes to play with tennis balls and is very curious about everything and everybody. Louis is friendly and seems calm. We think he’ll make a very good pet and companion. He will need lots of exercise and playtime and, of course, love. Once he adapts to his new home and learns what is expected of him, he will be a “very good boy.”

Refer to the pet’s ID number when contacting SCRAPS with questions about one of the adoptable pets. If you are interested in this dog or any animal there, call (509) 477-2532 or visit the shelter at 6815 E. Trent Ave. in Spokane Valley. Dog adoptions cost $120 and include spay or neuter, the first set of vaccinations (including rabies) health check, microchip and first year’s license.
