Sunday night shooting leaves man with life-threatening injuries

Spokane County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating after a reported shooting that left a man with life-threatening injuries Sunday evening.

Authorities were called to a home in the 11700 block of East Seventh Avenue shortly after 6:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office. A caller reported a man had been shot. The caller was no longer at the residence.

Paramedics rushed the man to the hospital, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Major Crimes detectives were at the home Sunday evening. The Sheriff’s Office said there’s no threat to the public and that the shooting did not appear to be random.

The Sheriff’s Office did not say if there were any arrests stemming from the incident Sunday evening.
