Man arrested and accused of killing woman found in car ablaze on South Hill

A man arrested by Spokane police late Friday is accused of killing a woman found dead Thursday in a burning car on Spokane’s South Hill.
Yasir A. Darraji is accused of first-degree murder in the woman’s death, said Spokane Police spokesman Sgt. Terry Preuninger.
She was found in a burning car on 27th Avenue near Fiske, adjacent to the former Hugo’s on the Hill bowling alley. Neighbors reported the car fire about 9 p.m. Thursday.
Police have not released the victim’s name.
