Blue Cross announces opening of new office in Coeur d’Alene

Blue Cross of Idaho announced Monday the opening of a new office in Coeur d’Alene that will employ about 40 people when fully staffed.

The Meridian, Idaho-based company issued a news release announcing the opening of the office that will provide account management, sales support, customer service and care coordination for Blue Cross of Idaho members in North Idaho. The office is at 1812 N. Lakewood Drive.

“Our new office provides space for our broker and consultant partners to interact with their clients, as well as attend professional training sessions and seminars,” company executive Paul Zurlo said in the news release. “We’re excited about our investment in Coeur d’Alene and look forward to expanding our footprint in North Idaho.”

Blue Cross of Idaho Health Services Inc. is a not-for-profit mutual insurance company. According to company information, it has more than 572,729 members.
