First Interstate Bank has named Jerry Lyon president of its North Idaho market. Formerly president and chief operating officer of Community 1st Bank, Lyon was key to integrating Community 1st and Idaho Independent Bank into First Interstate BancSystem Inc., which acquired the two in April.
Spokane Teachers Credit Union has hired Chelsie Hadden as a social media specialist and Ryan Throckmorton as a senior marketing communications specialist at its headquarters in Liberty Lake. Hadden has 10 years of experience in marketing and digital journalism, working previously at Solarity Credit Union in Yakima. Throckmorton worked previously as a copywriter and creative strategist at Spokane advertising agency Chapter and Verse.

McAloon Law has hired Kendel Froese as an associate attorney in its municipal law practice in Spokane. She has worked previously as the development director at the Center for Justice and as development coordinator for the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery. Froese’s practice with McAloon Law will focus on general municipal law and representation of local governments.

Visit Spokane has hired Kyle Minor as a director of national accounts. He is a Boise State University graduate and worked previously as the senior manager of citywide convention sales at Destination Cleveland.
