Sheriff’s office investigating death of two elderly adults in north Spokane County home

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of two elderly adults in a home east of Chattaroy.

Deputies responded to the residence on the 27100 block of North Scotts Ridge Lane at about 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday for a welfare check and report of a possible suicide, according to a news release.

Medical personnel confirmed the two elderly adults in the home were dead after responding deputies located them, according to a new release.

Major Crimes Unit detectives were called to the scene. Investigators do not believe there is any threat to the public.
