Feature creature: With SCRAPS guidance, shy Ferron getting more confident

The first thing you might notice about Ferron are his beautiful brown eyes:They seem to be pleading for you to take him home and love and cherish him. . Ferron was very timid when he first came to the Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service six months ago. The wonderful staff and volunteers at the shelter have been working with him and say he has grown more confident. Volunteers who took him out for a ride describe him as “sweet, gentle and shy.”

Dog adoptions cost $120 and include spay or neuter, the first set of vaccinations (including rabies) health check, microchip and first year’s license.
