A political questionnaire

I recently received a questionnaire from the Republican National Committee. Don’t know why. I’ve never registered with a political party and never been narrow minded enough to vote a straight party ticket for anyone.

There were a multitude of loaded, open-ended questions trying to force me to agree that Trump is the second Messiah. No no no. All political pap.

In my opinion there are more important questions. Would I prefer a president who didn’t bully and denigrate people around him ? Yes. Would I prefer a president who didn’t insult veterans and women? Yes. Would prefer a president who didn’t alienate every leader of the free world? Yes. Would I prefer a president who didn’t play kissy-face with the worst dictators on the planet? Yes. It would also be nice to have a president who could read a map. A weather map.

It would be interesting to hear the views of CMR on these and other issues but apparently she has her head stuck firmly in the sand. The silence is deafening. And damning. A true representative of the people should have the guts to shout from the rooftops when something is wrong. Silence is complicity and judged accordingly.
