French roundup: Memphis Depay scores injury-time winner as Lyon wins 3-2 at Toulouse
PARIS – Memphis Depay scored his second of the game five minutes into injury time as Lyon twice fought back from a goal down to win at Toulouse 3-2 in the French league on Saturday.
The Netherlands forward gathered the ball some 30 meters out and advanced into the penalty area before striking a low shot for his seventh league goal.
Striker Yaya Sanogo put Toulouse ahead in the 15th minute and Depay equalized in the 26th after being neatly set up by midfielder Jeff-Reine Adelaide.
A bizarre own goal from Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes saw Toulouse regain the lead on the hour mark. He came for a cross from the left and collided with his own defender Jason Denayer, with the ball bouncing off Lopes’ shoulder and in.
Striker Moussa Dembele leveled midway through the second half with his eighth league goal for Lyon, which climbed to eighth place and is at fourth-placed Marseille next weekend.
Marseille earned a scrappy 2-1 home victory against Lille and was helped by defensive errors.
Goalkeeper Mike Maignan spilled Dimitri Payet’s free kick from the right in the 47th minute, and from the loose ball defender Boubacar Kamara set up midfielder Morgan Sanson.
Brazilian defender Gabriel netted an own goal in the 79th, deflecting Payet’s header past a helpless Maignan to make it 2-0.

Surprise front-runner Angers was in second place, seven points behind league leader Paris Saint-Germain, after striker Stephane Bahoken’s penalty secured a 1-0 home win against Strasbourg.
Montpellier fought back from 2-0 down to draw at Metz 2-2, thanks to goals from striker Andy Delort and midfielder Junior Sambia inside the last 20 minutes.
Colombian forward Juan Ferney Otero’s first-half goal was enough to give mid-table Amiens a 1-0 home win against Brest.
Nimes vs. Rennes was called off because of heavy rain.
Nantes can move into second place and close the gap on PSG to five points if it wins at Bordeaux on Sunday.
PSG lost 2-1 at struggling Dijon on Friday.
