A Guy Fieri-themed art show? Welcome to Flavortown in Spokane

The worlds of food and art will collide Friday evening at Resurrection Records as VHS Art Club at Resurrection Records hosts “Welcome to Flavortown: A Guy Fieri Themed Art Show.”

The trip to Flavortown, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the record shop (1927 W. Northwest Blvd.), will certainly be the Bomb Dot Com in saluting the “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” celebrity chef.

A portion of all sales during “Welcome to Flavortown” will go toward cancer bill relief funds for Kelly Fay Vaughn and Susan Webber.

Emmy-winning TV host Fieri’s restaurants haven’t made it to Spokane, but Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar at the Linq Hotel and Guy Fieri’s El Burro Borracho at the Rio in Las Vegas can be recommended for their bacon-wrapped breadsticks, chilaquiles, Fried Ice Cream Boulder Sundae, Seven-Layer Jack Daniel’s Chocolate Cake and more.

All of the food items are flavor explosions.
