Two Vandals guards exploring transfer options
Two members of the University of Idaho’s backcourt are exploring options to transfer, following the Vandals’ 5-26 season.
Cameron Tyson, from Bothell, Washington, who broke Idaho’s freshman scoring record and finished the season with 432 points for a 13.5 per game average, and Geno West, a sophomore guard from Portland’s Jefferson High, who started nine games before being injured, averaging 7.5 points and 1.7 assists, have submitted their names to the NCAA transfer portal.
The move does not guarantee they are leaving Idaho, but it allows them to reopen recruiting.
