STA not helping parking woes

Regarding the City Parking Study in the March 7 paper, “Consultant says parking in Spokane core is confusing, fragmented, frustrating.”

I would be happy to use an alternate method to get downtown. Unfortunately, Spokane Transit Authority hasn’t seen fit to offer bus service to the people who live in the Cheney-Spokane Highway area, nor the Eagle Ridge development, or the other housing areas in the Latah Creek area.

Oh well, I can dream …
