Paper bags have cost, too

Environmentalist want to do away with them. Fine for the area east of the Cascades but over here, our bags don’t pollute the oceans. Note: Trees take in CO2 and produce O2 (oxygen). To make all the paper bags for the entire state, would require for thousands of trees to be cut down and the pollution expelled by paper mills and plants to make the paper for the bags, i.e.; at Wallula, Lewiston, Millwood, etc. Also the petroleum used to cut/skid and haul the trees.

I was involved with the inspection and installation of intake and discharge (outfall) pipelines from/to paper mills/plants in the Pond Oreille, Spokane, Clearwater,/Snake and Columbia Rivers as the owner of Allied Commercial Divers.
