Liberals, walk away

Kudos to Janet White, whose recent letter “Conservatives are the hated,” (March 5) so succinctly points out the radical left’s obsession with their “hate the conservatives” syndrome. Well said.

Along with that, I recently saw an in-depth TV interview with a gay man who was an avowed liberal, recently turned conservative. He stated that he was particularly pleased with how well he was accepted by conservatives regardless of his sexual orientation. He noted the inclusive atmosphere displayed by other conservatives.

In fact, he has started a grassroots movement designed to educate liberals and urge them to walk away from their obsessive beliefs. His website: walkawaycampaign.com includes a video detailing his journey from liberalism to conservatism. A quote from the website says it so accurately: “The Walkaway Campaign is a true grassroots movement founded by former liberal Brandon Straka. The campaign encourages and supports those on the left to walk away from the divisive tenets endorsed and mandated by the Democrat Party of today. We are walking away from the lies, the false narratives, the fake news, the race baiting, the victim narrative, the violence, the vandalism, the vitriol. We are walking away from the party driven by hate. We are walking toward patriotism and a new unified America! We are the future of this great nation.”
