Just four days after Hamilton’s Carson Rostad became the first known verbal commitment for the Grizzly football class of 2020, Glacier wide receiver Drew Deck followed suit on Tuesday and pledged his college football career to the Grizzlies as well. The Kalispell Glacier standout athlete made the announcement on Twitter Tuesday that he plans to be sporting the maroon and silver in the fall of 2020. As a junior in 2018, Deck was a big play-maker for the Wolfpack at wide receiver and defensive back. He was named an all-state selection at wide out after hauling in 55 catches last season for 774 yards and seven touchdowns, while also leading Glacier in the punt return game. Outside of football, Deck was an impact player for the Wolfpack basketball team and was a state champion on the track after winning gold in the 300 meter hurdles at the state meet in Kalispell last month. He’ll be one of many Glacier products competing for the Grizzlies as there are currently five former Wolfpack standouts on the Montana football roster.
