Minor League Report: Friday’s Northwest League and Texas Rangers affiliate results
Northwest League
Spokane 9, Boise 4: David Garcia hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning, added a two-run double in the sixth and the Indians downed the Boise Hawks 9-4 in the first of a four-game Northwest League series before an over-capacity crowd of 7,050 at Avista Stadium.
Obie Ricumstrict and Starling Joseph added homers for the Indians, who matched their season’s home run total in the game.
Ricky Vanasco (1-0) got the win. He allowed four earned runs on five hits and two walks with six strikeouts. He threw 50 of his 76 pitches for strikes.
Salem-Keizer 10, Everett 9 (10): Free runner Franklin Labour scored on a sacrifice fly by Tyler Flores and the visiting Volcanoes (5-3) edged the AquaSox (3-5). Labour went 1 for 5 but drove in three on his fourth homer of the year. Sean Roby went 3 for 5 with two RBIs for S-K.
Vancouver 5, Hillsboro 1: Grant Townsend struck out eight over six innings and allowed one run on one hit and the visiting Canadians (3-5) topped the Hops (4-4). Five Vancouver players had two hits each and four drove in runs.
Eugene 5, Tri-City 3: Rafael Mejia drove in two runs and the Emeralds (5-3) scored single runs in the seventh and eighth innings to break a tie and beat the visiting Dust Devils (3-5). Caleb Knight homered in the seventh to make it 4-3. Kohl Franklin struck out eight over four shutout innings for Eugene.

Nashville 6, New Orleans 5: Tyler Pill, Patrick Wisdom and Matt Davidson hit consecutive home runs in the top of the ninth inning and the visiting Sounds (29-44) beat the Baby Cakes (41-33). Carlos Tocci homered in the eighth for Nashville.
Frisco (AA) 6, NW Arkansas 4: Andretty Cordero went 3 for 5 with a home run and the visiting RoughRiders (35-38) beat the Naturals (33-39). Tyler Phillips struck out six over six innings and picked up his first win of the season. Emmanuel Clase earned his fourth save.
Down East (High-A) 8, Salem 7: Ryan Dorow went 3 for 3 with two RBIs and the Wood Ducks (51-20) edged the visiting Red Sox (25-43).Yonny Hernandez went 4 for 5 with two RBIs and Diosbel Arias went 2 for 4 with two RBIs.
Hickory (Low-A) 6, Charleston 2: Shertel Apostel went 1 for 3 with his 10th homer of the season and two RBIs and the Crawdads (42-26) beat the visiting RiverDogs (38-34). Kole Enright homered and Jax Biggers went 2 for 3 with an RBI..
