It’s not the rocks

Regarding rocks and guns (“Don’t blame the rock,” Timothy Rasmussen, June 9). Rocks have many good uses. Guns, not so much.

How many suicides are committed with rocks?

How many school rockings took place took place last year?

How many children accidentally kill themselves or a sibling with their parent’s rocks?

How many mass killings with rocks occur each year?

How would the tragic events on Bigelow Gulch have ended if one angry neighbor attacked another with a rock?

The Second Amendment crowd are right. Guns don’t kill people, they just make it real easy. Don’t blame rocks, just rock-headed thinking.
