Stuckart a mayor for all

27,000 people attended this year’s pride parade and festival in downtown Spokane, and that included our Council President Ben Stuckart.

I was so elated to see mayoral candidate Ben Stuckart showing his support as an ally to the LGBTQ+ community during the festivities. It is so important to have a candidate that continually strives to represent all constituents and participate in community events – especially ones that promote inclusion, compassion and acceptance.

I helped give Ben the opportunity to read the proclamation to open the pride festival at the Lilac Bowl in Riverfront Park and was overjoyed that he was the one to do it. Ben is an amazing human being that I’ve had the pleasure to talk to and work with over the past couple years. He has always shown a willingness to engage with people of all walks of life and has the knowledge and experience to take Spokane into the future.

Seeing Ben out shaking as many hands as possible during the parade showed me that he really cares about the people he serves. That’s why I’m voting Ben Stuckart for mayor, because I know he will be a mayor for all!
