Carroll Women’s Basketball Sharing Home Court

Kempson Cross SWX
Carroll College women’s basketball invited young hoopers on campus for four days this week. There were 85 kids in kindergarten through 8th grade playing hard at the Day Camp Skills Academy. Saints head coach Rachelle Sayers said many campers are in the crowd as Carroll competes for championships and now those kids get to share that same court with her players. “We’ve really enjoyed this one. I think especially at this age K-8 is when they really start to fall in love with the sport and can really see huge improvements in their game and then all these kids leave with a pass to come back to our games during the year and then in the summer they get to play on that same court and play with some of those girls,” said Rachelle Sayers. “It’s really cool because I come to like every basketball game so to see me playing on it is amazing,” said Brooke Howlett. The Saints next event this summer is the Elite Prospect Camp on June 21st.
