Trump’s values vs. actions
I started reading Dallas Garrison’s letter (“Trump’s values,” May 30) thinking it was written “tongue in cheek.” I soon realized he was serious.
I would like to help him elaborate.
Values/love of family: This stretches past Trump’s own family to those of porn stars and Playboy bunnies.
Love of nation: He exhibits this with five deferments so he wouldn’t have to fight for the country he loves. “Poor people fight in wars.”
Hatred of abortion: I suspect his constant sowing of his wild oats over the last 50 years has resulted in more than one abortion.
“True Christian background”: He seems to be unaware of the Ten Commandments. One of them adultery, another murder - the reporter who was killed. Trump says he believes the Saudis when they said their leader wasn’t involved.
A man who uses bankruptcy as a way of doing business harms workers who lose their wages, companies who go broke and the lender who put up project money. His lies are on TV for all to see as his stories constantly change.
I almost forgot. Love of country: This allowed him to go many years not paying income tax. My love of country guarantees that I pay mine.
