Security hypocrisy

I am somewhat amused by the disgust and outrage displayed by people regarding Washington citizens paying for Governor Inslee’s security detail as he campaigns for president.

I wonder if these same people will display a similar level of condemnation when POTUS begins in earnest his re-election activities with his taxpayer-supported security detail as well as the expense of using Air Force One.

It seems too much like a smokescreen meant to divert voters from the issues that are important by a fringe detail that, quite frankly, is the price we pay for the democratic process regardless of party or candidate preference.
