Brown at it again?

Scrolling through social media, one might have missed the drubbing Lisa Brown took last November. Indeed, Brown appears still stuck in campaign mode, tweeting at Cathy McMorris Rodgers with a predictable drumbeat of progressive outrage. Remember, voters re-elected McMorris Rodgers, over Brown, by nearly 10 points.

Of course Brown does this from the comfort of another six-figure taxpayer-funded state position. While we didn’t read about it in the Spokesman, Brown has a decades-long pattern of padding her wallet and resume, at taxpayer expense, while preparing for her next political run.

Our absent governor, in his never-ending string of comedic errors, appointed Brown as Commerce director. Brown, as near as anyone can tell, has never worked a day in the private sector (to be fair, nobody is quite certain about her activities in Nicaragua). If that’s not ironic enough for you, her current boss is the same guy who refuses to reimburse taxpayers for his taxpayer-funded security as he continues a vanity run for president.

Rumor has it Brown has her eyes set next on the Governor’s Mansion. How convenient that she’s crisscrossing the state already, at our expense. Sound familiar?
