Babysitter arrested for alleged assault of child

Spokane police arrested a babysitter Wednesday on suspicion of assaulting a child in her care.

Felisha J. Brownlow, 22, left the 2-year-old child with “significant and unexplained injuries,” according to a Spokane Police Department news release. The child was taken to a hospital by ambulance Wednesday.

The child’s exact injuries aren’t known.

Brownlow is being held in Spokane County Jail without bond.
