We do need to be blessed

Re “Blessed by Whom” (May 26, Richard Wilhelm):

It was sickening to see the twisting of some poor woman’s words. For her to express that at a time when she was faced with a terrible decision, thank God that at least she had a choice … only to have someone come along and make it sound frivolous is so heartbreaking. It’s interesting that those who cry the loudest about sinners usually have a pretty good amount of it in their own past.

As for Trump … his economic boom is being paid for with a massive credit card and the bill will eventually come due. Since he took office the national debt has climbed more than $2 trillion. That is trillion … with a T. But, as Trump said, he “won’t be here” when it happens.

Trump continues to tear down the institutions of our country, breaking every convention. This is akin to anarchy.

Spewing fear and hatred in the same way Hitler did as he rose to power, Trump is clearly the biggest threat to democracy in our lifetimes.

We do need to be blessed by God. Blessed to be rid of Trump.
