PotlatchDeltic reports increase in Q2 net income
Spokane-based PotlatchDeltic Corp. reported an increase in net income during the second quarter.
PotlatchDeltic announced net income of $17.1 million, or 25 cents per share, for the quarter, compared to net income of $6.6 million and 10 cents per share during the first quarter.
However, the company’s second-quarter income in 2019 dropped significantly compared to the second quarter 2018, when it reported net income of $46.1 million and 73 cents per share.
PotlatchDeltic indicated its timberlands and real estate businesses continued to perform well during the second quarter of 2019, but wood products declined because of a 35% drop in lumber prices compared to last year.
