Multiple-injury car crash on I-90 slows eastbound traffic into downtown

Several people were injured in a pair of crashes on Interstate 90 involving multiple cars and a semitruck near the Latah Creek Bridge.

The crashes occurred at about 3 p.m. Tuesday in the eastbound lanes, and the interstate was partially blocked until about 4 p.m., according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The severity of the injuries and the number of people hurt are unknown.
