Friends of the Spokane County Library District continue Spokane Symphony Pass program
The Friends of the Spokane County Library District recently announced that it would continue its Spokane Symphony Pass program through April for library district customers.
The Friends have funded the passes, which are matched in-kind by the symphony.
Library patrons can check out symphony passes to select matinee performances on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested can check availability and release dates for passes at www.scld.org/museum-cultural-passes.
Passes are available for the following concerts:
“Classics 6: Passion’s Pursuit,” featuring pianist Haochen Zhang and conducted by music director finalist James Lowe. (Feb. 17)
“Classics 7: Korngold and Shostakovich,” featuring violinist Angelo Xiang Yu and conducted by music director finalist Rei Hotoda. (March 10)
“Classics 9: Russian Virtuosity,” featuring cellist Istvan Várdai and conducted by music director finalist Jayce Ogren. (April 14)
All concerts are at 3 p.m. and held at Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox, 1001 W. Sprague Ave.
