Silver Mountain offering discounted lift tickets to furloughed federal employees

Furloughed federal employees can ski at Silver Mountain Resort for $29 for the next three days.

The discount will be available through Friday, according to a news release from the resort. A day pass at the resort normally costs $57 for an adult.

As of Tuesday the federal government had been shutdown for 33 days.
