Classes expected to resume Tuesday after campuswide power outage at Spokane Community College

Spokane Community College canceled classes Monday due to a campuswide power outage.
Greg Stevens, the chief administration officer for the Community Colleges of Spokane, said the outage was caused by a faulty electrical vault at the southwest corner of campus, near the fire sciences building.
Stevens said crews from the school and Avista Utilities were working Monday morning to reroute power to another side of campus.
A post on SCC’s Facebook page said classes would resume on Tuesday. Classes were not affected Monday at the school’s branch locations.
