Laws don’t stop violence
More gun laws will not stop gun violence! Laws don’t go into effect until after the fact, hence the term “law enforcement.” Several recent acts of gun violence were committed by convicted felons with illegally possessed firearms resisting arrests.
Background checks will not prevent mass shootings. If the person buying firearms doesn’t have any indication of a violent history in their background record, they won’t be prevent from buying firearms. This has already been proven by past incidents.
Law enforcement can’t legally act until an illegal act is committed. It also appears that some mass shootings were allowed to occur to further the gun control cause. The politically controlled news media has emphasized mass shootings going back several decades in support of more gun control laws.
In short, any person who want firearms badly enough can get them on the black market or steal them, circumventing any gun control laws. This is proven by convicted felons possessing illegal firearms.
