BDS toward China

Isn’t it ironic that so many writers to the letters to the editor never criticize the worst country for human rights violations, China?

China, who in 1949 took control of the theocratic state of Tibet. Today China governs Tibet ruthlessly. They arrest and torture any Tibetans who dare challenge their authority.

Both Muslims and Christians are also abused extensively today in China. It is the Chinese Communist government which disallows any dissent. There are one million Uighurs imprisoned at this hour in China. Is there any sympathy in Spokane for their plight?

There should be a BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) against Chinese goods, not Israel. Even after centuries of disparagement against the Jewish people, there still persists a wronging of any interpretive policy conducted by Israel.

I have been to Israel and marvel at the integration of one million or more Arabs living under the umbrella of democracy. Israel and the untruths about BDS should be reversed and aimed at the People’s Republic of China. Stop buying the plastic toys and electronics originating in the PRC. Those who want to boycott and sanction, direct your wrath west toward China, an evil and cruel empire dominated by their one-rule communist dictatorship.
